Before co-founding and joining SEVEN Capital in 2007, Renaud held various fixed income trading and sales management roles at SG Warburg, BNP Paribas and Calyon in Paris, London and Milan, where he set up the bond trading operation for BNPP. Renaud started his career as a rates trader at CCF in Paris. He graduated from ESCP Europe.

Previously at Lyxor Asset Management (2006-2007) he was in charge of the selection and structuration of different Hedge Fund strategies (CTA’s, global macro and Forex). He also developed quantitative tools with a risk approach to extract the real added value from managers compared to their peer group. Started his career in 2000 at Maple Partners in Germany as Trader in charge of the French Stocks pair trading arbitrage research. In 2001, he joined Rivoli Fund Management as Trader and was later promoted to Head of Trading.

Previously a Managing Director in Credit and Rates at JPMorgan Chase in London and Paris (1996-2011), he joined as head of rates of JPMorgan Brussels office, and became senior rates trader in London before leading the public sector origination . At Credit Agricole SA in 1995, he ran the European Bond Trading. He started his banking career at CCF, (now HSBC France) (1988-1995) as a bond and swaps trader and became Head of European bonds. He graduated from HEC School of Management in Paris.
